Hi Karen,

Love your recent new book too. I’ve now tried out a number of your recipes and have been experimenting (not always successfully) with addition of active ingreduents to tailor them further. So this course is extremely welcome!

In particular I want to learn how to make creams & lotions sink into the skin in similar manner to commercial products. I undestand it may be something to do with types of emulsifiers and addition of other ingerdients needed to achieve this. Is this something that the course will cover?

Hi Rachelle, yes that’s right. It actually does say 1g but the font used in the typesetting makes all of the number 1′s look like an I.

Hi Karen

I bought your book last week and I have been reading through it all before I try making something. I was interested in the lavender & aloe vera body gel but I do not understand one of the ingredients’ measurement. It reads Ig konjac glucomannan powder. What metric is this? Is it meant to read 1g, as in gram?
